Sweet & Smoky Riblets

A generous portion of tender pork riblets smothered in our house-made sweet and smoky southern-style barbecue sauce. The perfect dish as the weather warms up.

This meal is sold by the portion. One portion is built to feed one person with a hearty appetite or two people with light appetites.

Cooking Instructions

Slow Cooker Instructions

Cook for 4-12 hours on low heat. (Make sure your slow cooker is between a quarter to three quarters filled, any less and the sauce may burn. Any more and the meal may take significantly longer to cook.)

 

Boil in Bag Instructions

Boil a pot of water, then place the frozen meal bag into the pot. Cook for 20 minutes. Make sure the bag is submerged in water and not touching the pot, any plastic touching the pot will burn. CAUTION: Bag will be hot and releases hot steam when opened.

 

Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker Instructions

Cook for 10-15 minutes from frozen or 8-12 minutes thawed.

They were very good and I would get them again however (and I know it depends on your own crockpot) I would go for the minimum amount of time on low in my crockpot.

The reason Im gonna be fat

This is the second review I have ever written the first one was like 5 minutes ago about this company's Philly cheesesteak which was the best thing I have ever put in my mouth. That being said these riblets or rib tips or whatever they are phenomenal like a hole in one but in the form of food phenomenal. Like the bottom of the 9th bases-loaded grand slam good. If I didn't offer up my firstborn for the cheesesteak dip I would at a minimum give one of his limbs for this dish. If I had to put this in the crock pot myself instead of getting my wife or kids to cut open the bag I would more than likely do it these things were so good.

I was iffy about ordering these, but so glad I did. They are one of my favorites, if not the favorite, that I tried so far! BBQ is not too spicy or sweet and the Riblets has a good char in them by the time I got home from work. Not too fatty at all - which was my other concern

Crazy Good Ribs

I am a rib fanatic so if I say they are outstanding they really are. Ya can't beat a ready-made crockpot meal that's as good as anything you would get a rib joint.

Decent Riblets

The meat itself was pretty good and tender as well. The problem is the sauce. It uses too much vinegar which the overpowers the rest of the food.
