How does it work?


Step 1:   Choose how many portions you'd like to receive per shipment

      • One portion is built to feed one person with a hearty appetite or two people with light appetites.
      • Use our Portion Calculator below to determine how many portions we recommend for you.

Step 2:    Choose how often you'd like recieve shipments

      • You have the option to receive weekly, monthly, or bi-monthly shipments. Skip a shipment or pause your subscription at any time.

Step 3:    Choose your meals

      • Browse our menu of 40+ chef-crafted meals, desserts, soups, dips, and more.
      • Filter by special diet needs, including vegetarian, gluten-free, low sodium, and low calorie options.
      • Pick exactly what meals you want and change them at any time.

Step 4:    Place your order and start saving!

      • Once your order is placed, our team will pack your first shipment and ship it to your doorstep within four business days.
      • You'll save up to 15% on every shipment (compared to the price of a one-time shipping order).
      • After you sign up, you will gain access to your personal Customer Portal. Here, you can change your meals, skip a shipment, apply discount codes, cancel your subscription, and more.


Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need a subscription to order from you?

No, a subscription is not required to order from us. If you just want to try our meals without signing up for a recurring order, simply browse our menu, choose what you'd like, and place an order.

How do I choose new meals for my plan?

First, you will need to make sure that you've created a whatacrockmeals.com account. You will have been emailed an invitation to create an account after signing up for your subscription. If you cannot find it, click here to create a new account or contact our support team.

If you already have an account, log in. Once you're logged in, click "Manage Subscriptions" and then "Edit" next to your active subscription to navigate into your personal Customer Portal. From there, click "Update Meals", choose the meals you'd like to receive with your next shipment, then click "Save".

If you would like to update the meals on an order that has processed but not yet shipped, please contact our support team so that we can do it for you.

How does shipping work?

Once a subscription is started, you will receive your first order within four business days. Your future orders will then be shipped according to the frequency you select. For example, if you start your subscription on January 1st and selected a shipment frequency of 30 days, your next order will be processed on January 31st.

Our team starts packing your orders as soon as they process. Once your order is ready for shipment, you will receive an automated email containing your order's tracking information from UPS or FedEx. Transit time varies from state to state - please refer to our Shipping Information page to see when you can expect your package.

How does billing work?

Orders are processed and begin shipping preparations in accordance to the frequency you select when signing up for your subscription. For example, if you start your subscription on January 1st and selected a shipment frequency of 30 days, your next order will be processed and you will be billed on January 31st, then March 1st, and so on.

Keep in mind that you can skip an order or cancel your subscription at any time in your Customer Portal.

Do you offer options for dietary restrictions?

Yes we do! You can filter our subscription menu by special diet options. Need some suggestions? Contact our support team.

Can I start a subscription as a gift for someone else?

Absolutely! You should go ahead and follow the steps above to get the subscription started, then enter the gift recipient's name and shipping information at checkout.

If you'd like to provide them with access to log in and change their meals between shipments, please contact us and we will be more than happy to help set their account up.

If you'd like to remain in charge of determining what meals they should receive, you should keep your own email address on file.

What if I don't have a slow cooker?

No worries! All of our meals can be cooked over your stovetop, and many of them can be cooking simply by boiling them in bag in a pot of water. Others can be cooked in an Instant Pot. Use the "Other Cooking Methods" filter on our subscription menu to see these options.

How do I cancel my meal plan?

Please note — we are not able to cancel or modify a shipment that has already processed.

To cancel your Meal Plan, first you will need to make sure that you've created a whatacrockmeals.com account. You will have been emailed an invitation to create an account after signing up for your first meal plan. If you cannot find it, click here to create a new account. If you already have an account, log in.

If you want to cancel your meal plan, log in to your account, then click "Manage Subscriptions", then "Edit" next to the meal plan that you'd like to cancel. Towards the bottom of the page, you'll see a "Cancel Subscription" button. Click that to cancel your meal plan. All future shipments that have yet to process will then be cancelled.

If you cancel your meal plan but decide you want to come back to it in the future, please log in as normal, then click "Re-activate" next to the inactive meal plan that you'd like to resume.
