Cooking Instructions

Slow Cooker Instructions

Cook for 4-6 hours on low heat. (Make sure your slow cooker is between a quarter to three quarters filled, any less and the sauce may burn. Any more and the meal may take significantly longer to cook.)

Add rice to your slow cooker for the last 20 minutes of cook time OR boil rice in bag for 12 minutes, then add to the dish before plating.

Boil in Bag Instructions

Boil a pot of water, then place the frozen meal bag into the pot. Cook for 20 minutes. Make sure the bag is submerged in water and not touching the pot, any plastic touching the pot will burn.

Boil rice in bag for 12 minutes, then add to the dish before plating.

CAUTION: Bag will be hot and releases hot steam when opened.

Instant Pot/Pressure Cooker Instructions

Cook for 10-15 minutes.

Boil rice in bag for 12 minutes, then add to the dish before plating.

Stovetop Instructions

Completely defrost the meal, then pour contents into a non-stick pan. Cook for 15-20 minutes over medium heat.

In a separate pot, boil rice in bag for 12 minutes, then add to the dish before plating.

The good - the chicken was tender
The bad - there was very little chicken even for one person and the sauce had no flavor at all. There were no onions to be seen.

We've had other meals from What a Crock that were great, but this one was very disappointing.

This has become a family favorite . I use penne instead of rice.

Served it to company, no one liked it so they stopped eating. I then served them sandwiches instead

Delicious!

So far this is our favorite whatacrock meal. The sauce is super flavorful and the portion size is generous. We had it with rice and it was a very hearty meal.

We had this dish last night, and it was so flavorful. Giant chunks of sliced chicken breasts and mushrooms in a very flavorful sauce. We ate it over noodles as opposed to rice, but I think the rice would be good as well. Very good and super easy!

I'm a terrible cook. So trying crock pot meals to go seemed like a great idea. My first What a Crock meal was the Chicken Marsala. And it was awesome! Good portion size. Super easy to make. And tasted great. I'll be ordering this again.

Restaurant Quality

This is a restaurant quality dish but so much more convenient, the meals are delivered to our house. We toss them in the crockpot and when we get home the house smells great and it's like someone was there all cooking for us. Everything we have received from this company had been outstanding. This is the best meal delivery service we have tried so far.

Great Flavor!

This was great! I was going to be home late so just threw it in the crock pot. It was great to come home, make a little pasta and DINNER is Served! This tastes great and is so easy. Love It! I will definitely be ordering more of this one.

Delicious and simple!

I hate mushrooms, but love chicken marsala (confusing I know!). So as you can imagine I'm very picky about Marsala. I love this dish and order it every time I place an order. The chicken and the sauce are fantastic. I've had it over pasta and rice and both are equally delicious. It also cooks very quickly and easily on the stove top in a pinch!

Yum Yum!

We are big fans of chicken marsala. I have had it served with potatoes and pasta, but never rice, so I was excited to try this. The chicken was tender and delicious and the mushrooms - I can't even describe the way they tasted but it was like they were buttery and smooth. We love mushrooms, but we REALLY enjoyed these mushrooms in particular. Sauce was great. I had enough left over for lunch the next day, as is the case with all the meals I've tried so far.

Outstanding & so easy

This was our first meal with What A Crock. The chicken was tender, and the whole meal was very tasty. The preparation was simple and, using a slow cooker bag, there was practically no clean-up.

Got the Hubby to eat mushrooms

I've been married 23 years and this dish was the first time I every got my husband to eat mushrooms it was fantastic. I think you should bottle that sauce and sell it!

We purchased 2 portions for me,my wife and our 10 year old we ate and had a little left over. I'm not a huge fan of mushrooms but they were great in this dish. I would recommend marsala.
